Casa Del Taco first opened its doors in 1984 on North Bridge Street, founded by local resident Bill Barker with a simple goal: to bring Chillicothe a better take on Mexican fast-casual dining. From the beginning, Bill focused on using high-quality meats and fresh produce, offering flavorful food at a convenient location while keeping prices affordable for the community.
As the restaurant’s popularity grew, Bill saw an opportunity to better serve Chillicothe and Ross County. In 2006, a second location opened at 1360 Western Avenue, across from McDonald’s, making it even more accessible. Today, Bill and his wife Tammy, along with their sons Bill, Jeremy, Matt, and Ryan, continue the family tradition with friendly service and a menu for all ages. Drawing visitors from across Ohio, it remains a must-visit local favorite.
